The Administration has provided information on the the spread of chemical oxygen demand (COD) values for the 384 samples of restaurant effluents, with information on the scale of operation of the restaurants, the basis upon which the generic COD value of 1630 grammes per cubic metre for the restaurant trade is arrived at and information on the effluent quality of restaurants which have been successful in their appeals.
