12.4.05 FC The Finance Committee examined the proposed provision for the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) for 2005-2006. [Minutes, paras 10.2 to 10.13]

Members were invited to visit HKTB to receive a briefing on its request for additional funding of $437 million. The visit was subsequently held on 26 April 2005, during which HKTB was requested to provide supplementary information on its funding situation over the past few years as well as details of funding allocation for the initiatives to be covered by the additional funding request.
