The LegCo Archives selects, acquires and preserves valuable records which document the history, core functions and activities of the Council. It also provides records reference, research and access services. It is open to members of the public who are interested in doing research or wish to learn more about the history, functions and activities of the Legislature.

No booking is required for admission to the LegCo Archives. Appointments made in advance are welcome, particularly if users have already identified the records they would like to consult and want the records be prepared for consultation ahead of time, or there are specific issues that users wish to discuss with the Archives staff.

Organized visits for up to 20 people per group may be arranged by appointment.
