Hon LAU Kong-wah to move: (Translation)

That this Panel urges the Administration, in renewing the existing franchises of Citybus Limited (Airport and North Lantau routes), Long Win Bus Company Limited and New World First Bus Services Limited, to include a new franchise term which requires the franchised bus companies to undertake that consideration will be given to various relevant factors such as public affordability, the companies' operating conditions, etc. when they submit applications of fare adjustments, including the increase or reduction of fares, to the relevant authorities for approval.

That this Panel urges the Administration, in renewing the existing franchises of Citybus Limited (Airport and North Lantau routes), Long Win Bus Company Limited and New World First Bus Services Limited, to delete the proposed new franchise term which requires the franchised bus companies to seek prior approval from the Commissioner for Transport for investment in securities.

That this Panel urges the Administration, in renewing the existing franchises of Citybus Limited (Airport and North Lantau routes), Long Win Bus Company Limited and New World First Bus Services Limited, to include a new franchise term which requires the franchised bus companies to implement concessionary bus-bus interchange schemes as instructed by the Commissioner for Transport.
