The Hong Kong Broadcasting Scene - 10 Programmes and Channels for Minority Ethnic Groups in Hong Kong

The licensees included programmes catering for the needs of the minority ethnic groups in Hong Kong. There were programmes in Japanese and Korean on the domestic free English TV channels, such as "Hanada Shonen Shi" and "Kaist".

The domestic pay television service licensees included channels in Hindi (Zee TV), Japanese (NHK), Korean (Arirang TV), French (TV5), German (Deutsche Welle-tv), etc. on their platforms.

On radio, programmes in Tagalog, Hindi and Indonesian were provided for the different ethnic groups for their enjoyment.
