At its meeting on 20 May 2009, the Legislative Council passed the following bill: Road Traffic (Driving-offence Points) (Amendment) Bill 2009. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two resolutions: (1) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Education under the Education Ordinance. (2) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Development relating to the Building (Minor Works) Regulation. The following two motions not intended to have legislative effect were also passed by the Council: (1) Motion on "Urging enterprises to fulfill their social responsibility", moved by Hon CHAN Kam-lam. (2) Motion on "Promoting the development of the testing and certification industry in Hong Kong", moved by Hon Andrew LEUNG Kwan-yuen as amended by Hon Tommy CHEUNG Yu-yan and Hon Fred LI Wah-ming.
