At its meeting on 4 November 2009, the Legislative Council passed the following three resolutions: (1) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Labour and Welfare relating to the Disability Discrimination Ordinance (Amendment of Schedule 5) Notice 2009. (2) Resolution moved by Hon CHAN Kin-por relating to the extension of the period for amending the Building (Minor Works) (Fees) Regulation. (3) Resolution moved by Dr Hon Margaret NG relating to the extension of the period for amending the Rules of the High Court (Amendment) Rules 2009. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two motions not intended to have legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Alleviating the burden of travelling expenses", moved by Hon CHEUNG Hok-ming as amended by Hon Andrew CHENG Kar-foo. (2) Motion on "Increasing the supply of medium and small-sized residential flats", moved by Hon LEE Wing-tat as amended by Hon WONG Kwok-hing and Hon James TO Kun-sun.
