At its meeting on 11 November 2009, the Legislative Council passed the following two bills: (1) Immigration (Amendment) Bill 2009. (2) Bunker Oil Pollution (Liability and Compensation) Bill, with amendments moved by the Secretary for Transport and Housing at Committee Stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two resolutions: (1) Resolution moved by the Secretary for Home Affairs relating to the Legal Aid in Criminal Cases (Amendment) Rules 2009. (2) Resolution moved by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee relating to the extension of the period for amending the Estate Agents (Licensing) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulation 2009. The following two motions not intended to have legislative effect were also passed by the Council: (1) Motion on "Re-formulating the special education policy", moved by Hon Cyd HO Sau-lan as amended by Hon Tanya CHAN. (2) Motion on "Requesting the Government to provide support services for men in Hong Kong", moved by Hon WONG Kwok-hing.
