Pursuant to Standing Order 4AA, His Excellency the Governor, the Right Honourable Christopher Francis PATTEN, attended the sitting to address the Council on his visit to Canada and the United States and to enable Members to put questions to him on the following issues :

  1. The Governor's visit to Canada and the United States;
  2. Fight against drugs; and
  3. Sewage charges.

11 Members asked questions on the above issues and the Governor replied.

NEXT SITTING

In accordance with Standing Orders, the President adjourned the Council until Wednesday, 5 June 1996.

Adjourned accordingly at nineteen minutes to four o'clock.
