RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT SUBCOMMITTEE

2. Agenda items EC(96-97)50, 51 and 53 to 55 were recommended by ESC at its meeting on 16 January 1997. On EC(96-97)51, ESC endorsed the proposals on the basis that the two posts set out in paragraphs 3(a) and 3(b) would be created on a supernumerary basis up to 31 March 2000 while the proposal in paragraph 3(c) remained intact. The relevant papers have previously been forwarded to all Members for consideration and are therefore not enclosed.
3. Members are invited to approve the ESC recommendations.
4. The up-to-date position of the establishment of directorate posts in the civil service is as follows -
