To monitor and examine Government policies, legislation and issues of public concern relating to dissemination and protection of information, freedom of the press, and public relations including overseas public relations strategy and the promotion of international interest in Hong Kong.
To provide a forum for the exchange and dissemination of views on related policy matters.
To consider such matters as may be referred to the Panel by the House Committee.
To report and make recommendations to the House Committee as appropriate.
