TATE'S CAIRN TUNNEL (TATE'S CAIRN TUNNEL REGULATIONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1997
An Ordinance to amend the Tate's Cairn Tunnel Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 24 of the Tate's Cairn Tunnel Ordinance (Cap. 393).

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Regulation 3(1)(g) of the Tate's Cairn Tunnel Regulations (Cap. 393 sub. leg.) is repealed and the following substituted---
"(g) ensure that---
- the concentration of carbon monoxide gas in the tunnel does not during any 5-minute period exceed an average of 100 parts per million by volume;
- the concentration of nitrogen dioxide gas in the tunnel does not during any 5-minute period exceed an average of 1 part per million by volume;
- the visibility in the tunnel does not during any 5-minute period exceed an extinction coefficient of 0.005 per metre;".
