RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT SUBCOMMITTEE

At the Enclosure is a summary of the recommendations of the Establishment Subcommittee (ESC).

2. Agenda items EC(98-99)17,18, 20 and 22 were recommended by ESC at its meeting on 13 January 1999. On EC(98-99)18, the Administration revised the proposal to creating a supernumerary post of Administrative Officer Staff Grade B (D3) for two years with effect from 5 February 1999, which the ESC endorsed. The relevant papers have previously been forwarded to all Members for consideration and are therefore not enclosed.

3. Members are invited to approve the ESC recommendations.

4. The up-to-date position of the establishment of directorate posts in the civil service is as follows -
