Committee on Rules of Procedure

First Legislative Council (1998 - 2000)

The Committee on Rules of Procedure was formed in July 1998 to review the Rules of Procedure of the Council and the committee system, propose to the Council such amendments or changes as are considered necessary, and examine matters of practice and procedure relating to the Council referred by the Council or its committees or the President, or raised by its own members.

  Membership (Year 1999-2000)(The term of office of members of this committee ended on the expiry of the term of the Legislative Council on 30 June 2000)
    The Committee consists of a chairman, a deputy chairman and 10 members appointed by the President in accordance with the recommendations of the House Committee.
