Arrangements during prorogation of the Council
During prorogation of the Council from 24 October 2025, no Member will be available to handle cases or interview individual members of the public/deputations under the Redress System. Subject to the agreement of individual members of the public/deputations, the Public Complaints Office will follow up on their cases and advise them of the outcome. The Public Complaints Office will report all cases handled during the prorogation period to Members of the new term. Should individual members of the public/deputations wish that their cases be dealt with by Members, they can contact Members of their choice directly.
