The Legislative Council Subcommittee to Follow Up Issues Relating to the Unified Screening Mechanism for Non-refoulement Claims conducted a visit to Castle Peak Bay Immigration Centre on 19 July 2018 to better understand its facilities and operation.
Members participating in the visit included Dr Hon Elizabeth QUAT, Chairman of the Subcommittee, Hon YIU Si-wing and Dr Hon Fernando CHEUNG, who are Subcommittee members, as well as, Hon IP Kin-yuen and Hon Tony TSE, who are non-Subcommittee Members.
