Public Accounts Committee The Public Accounts Committee is one of the three standing committees of the Council. It is responsible for considering the Director of Audit's reports on the Government's accounts, as well as the results of value for money audits carried out on the Government and other organizations within the purview of public audit. Major work • The Committee continued to examine the issues raised in Chapters 1 and 8 of the Director of Audit's Report No. 70 on "Management of restored landfills" and "Sha Tin Section of Route 8".
