At its meeting on 24 January 2007, the Legislative Council passed the following resolution:


At the same meeting, the Council passed the following two motions with no legislative effect:

(1)Motion on "Fully safeguarding the safety of food supply to Hong Kong", moved by Hon Fred LI Wah-ming as amended by Hon WONG Yung-kan, Hon Tommy CHEUNG Yu-yan, Dr Hon KWOK Ka-ki and Hon WONG Ting-kwong.

(2)Motion on "Urging the Government to make effective use of the surplus and plough it back into the community", moved by Hon SIN Chung-kai as amended by Hon Frederick FUNG Kin-kee and Hon WONG Kwok-hing.
