At its meeting on 13 December 2006, the Legislative Council passed the following resolution: Resolution moved by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury under the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following motion with no legislative effect: Motion on "Release of CHING Cheong", moved by Hon James TO Kun-sun as amended by Hon Howard YOUNG.
