At its meeting on 24, 25 and 26 October 2007, the Legislative Council passed the following two motions not intended to have legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Development of the convention and exhibition industry", moved by Hon Andrew LEUNG Kwan-yuen as amended by Hon WONG Ting-kwong. (2) "Motion of Thanks", moved by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee as amended by Hon Albert HO Chun-yan, Hon Fred LI Wah-ming, Hon Andrew CHENG Kar-foo and Hon Frederick FUNG Kin-kee.
