At its meeting on 10 and 11 December 2008, the Legislative Council passed the following three motions not intended to have legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Appointment of a select committee", moved by Hon LI Fung-ying. (2) Motion on "Promoting infrastructure development", moved by Ir Dr Hon Raymond HO Chung-tai as amended by Hon CHEUNG Hok-ming, Hon Audrey EU Yuet-mee and Hon LEE Wing-tat. (3) Motion on "Raising the limit of university places for publicly-funded bachelor's degree programmes", moved by Hon Starry LEE Wai-king as amended by Hon CHEUNG Man-kwong, Hon IP Kwok-him and Hon CHAN Tanya.
