The LegCo Reporter 2009-2010		Issue No. 25 (25 June 2010)
At its meeting on 23, 24 and 25 June 2010, the Legislative Council passed the following two motions: (1) Motion on "Amendment to the Method for the Selection of the Chief Executive" moved by the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs. (2) Motion on "Amendment to the Method for the Formation of the Legislative Council and its Voting Procedures" moved by the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following resolution: Resolution moved by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee relating to the extension of the period for amending the Tate's Cairn Tunnel Ordinance (Amendment of Schedule) Notice 2010. The following two motions not intended to have legislative effect were also passed by the Council: (1) Motion on "Legislating for 'standard working hours' ", moved by Dr Hon LEUNG Ka-lau as amended by Hon LI Fung-ying. (2) Motion on "Assisting the sustainable development of small and medium enterprises", moved by Dr Hon LAM Tai-fai as amended by Hon Jeffrey LAM Kin-fung and Hon Vincent FANG Kang.
