At its meeting of 30 and 31 March 2011, the Legislative Council passed the following bill:
    Food Safety Bill, with amendments moved by the Secretary for Food and Health at Committee stage.

At the same meeting, the Legislative Council passed the following five resolutions:

(1)Resolution moved by the Secretary for Home Affairs under the Legal Aid Ordinance.

(2)Resolution moved by the Secretary for Home Affairs relating to the Legal Aid (Assessment of Resources and Contributions) (Amendment) Regulation 2011.

(3)Resolution moved by the Secretary for the Environment relating to the Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance (Amendment of Schedules 1 and 3) Order 2011.

(4)Resolution moved by the Secretary for Transport and Housing under the Road Traffic Ordinance.

(5)Resolution moved by Hon TAM Yiu-chung relating to the Rules of Procedure of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.


The following two motions not intended to have legislative effect were also passed by the Council:

(1)Motion on "Concern about the impact of the earthquake in Japan on Hong Kong ", moved by Hon WONG Ting-kwong as amended by Hon Albert CHAN Wai-yip, Hon Tommy CHEUNG Yu-yan, Hon WONG Kwok-hing and Prof Hon Patrick LAU Sau-shing.

(2)Motion on "Implementing the Twelfth Five-Year Plan", moved by Hon IP Kwok-him as amended by Hon Miriam LAU Kin-yee.
