Four Legislative Council Members conducted a site visit to Tung Chung and Tin Shui Wai today (4 July) to follow up on a deputation's request for provision of public market facilities and setting up of bazaars.

Accompanied by representatives of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and the Housing Department, Members visited three sites in Tung Chung and Tin Shui Wai to study their feasibility for setting up bazaars.  

Members participating in the site visit included Duty Roster Members Hon Regina IP LAU Suk-yee (Convenor) and Hon CHAN Chi-chuen, as well as invited Members,  Hon LEUNG Yiu-chung and Dr Hon Fernando CHEUNG Chiu-hung.
