Legislative Council ("LegCo") Members conducted a site visit today (13 May) to the waste recycling yards in Wan Po Road, Tseung Kwan O to follow up on a complaint relating to the nuisance caused by the waste recycling yards to nearby residents.

Accompanied by representatives of various government departments, such as the District Lands Office, Sai Kung; the Environmental Protection Department; and the Transport Department, Members visited the waste recycling yards and the adjacent public car park, and received briefings by the government departments on the follow-up actions taken to address the concerns of the deputation. 

Members who participated in the site visit are LegCo Redress System Duty Roster Member, Hon SHIU Ka-chun (Convenor), and the invited Members, Hon CHU Hoi-dick and Dr Hon YIU Chung-yim.
