LegCo Member conducts site visit on issues relating to proposed relocation of Harcourt Road Fresh Water Pumping Station to Lockhart Road Playground (with photos)
Legislative Council ("LegCo") Member conducted a site visit to the Harcourt Road Fresh Water Pumping Station ("the pumping station") and the Lockhart Road Playground today (9 February) to follow up on a complaint about the proposed relocation of the pumping station.
Accompanied by representatives of various policy bureau and Government departments including the Development Bureau, the Planning Department, the Architectural Services Department and the Water Supplies Department, Duty Roster Member, Dr Hon Pierre CHAN, first visited the pumping station to better understand whether it is feasible to keep it in situ. He then visited the proposed site for the relocation of the pumping station at the Lockhart Road Playground and was briefed by representatives of the Administration on the integrated leisure facilities cum pumping station development scheme.
