RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT SUBCOMMITTEE
At the Enclosure is a summary of the recommendations of the Establishment Subcommittee (ESC).
2. Agenda items EC(96-97)1 to 6 were recommended by ESC at its meeting on 10 April 1996. On EC(96-97)2, the Administration revised the proposal to creating a supernumerary post of Assistant Principal Solicitor (DL1) for three years with effect from 13 May 1996, which the ESC endorsed. The relevant papers have previously been forwarded to all Members for consideration and are therefore not enclosed.
3. Members are invited to approve the ESC recommendations.
4. The up-to-date position of the establishment of directorate posts in the civil service is as follows -
