8.2 Domestic Pay Television Programme Service

Of the 163 channels offered at the end of August 2004, 31% (49 channels) were locally produced and 69% (114 channels) sourced from outside Hong Kong, mainly from the USA (29% or 48 channels), Japan (9% or 15 channels), Mainland China (6% or 9 channels) and European countries (10% or 16 channels).
