For the year 2004-2005, ATV and TVB produced a total of 10,908 hours (32.1%) of programmes. Of the 207 channels provided by the domestic pay television programme service licensees, 37 (17.9%) were station-produced. As for sound broadcasting, with the exception of RTHK's channel Radio 6 relaying BBC World Service, the other 12 radio channels were produced by the broadcasters.
