At its meeting on 3 and 4 February 2010, the Legislative Council passed the following three bills: (1) Inland Revenue (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2009, with an amendment moved by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury at Committee stage. (2) Toys and Children's Products Safety (Amendment) Bill 2009. (3) Occupational Deafness (Compensation) (Amendment) Bill 2009, with amendments moved by the Secretary for Labour and Welfare at Committee stage. At the same meeting, the Council passed the following three motions not intended to have legislative effect: (1) Motion on "Promoting the development of fishing activities", moved by Hon WONG Yung-kan. (2) Motion on "Alleviating poverty and helping the disadvantaged with care and concern", moved by Hon TAM Yiu-chung as amended by Hon WONG Kwok-hing, Hon WONG Sing-chi and Hon LEE Wing-tat. (3) Motion on "Formulating a comprehensive youth policy", moved by Hon CHEUNG Kwok-che as amended by Dr Hon Joseph LEE Kok-long, Hon IP Wai-ming, Hon KAM Nai-wai and Hon CHAN Hak-kan.
