This research studies strategies and measures in tackling domestic violence in the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Boston of the United States. It covers the actions taken by the governments in tackling domestic violence from both the legal and administrative aspects, including the policies, legal framework and funding arrangement relating to domestic violence. The availability of a special task force for policy formulation as well as the immediate assistance for victims and implementation concerns are also discussed.
