3.2 Sound Broadcasting
The three radio broadcasters provided their services in
analogue FM and AM modes. Seven FM programme services were
provided through seven hilltop sites12. In addition,
six AM programme services were broadcast from two other hilltop
sites13, supplemented by six low-power AM/FM gap-fillers14
to improve the AM programme services. The services practically
covered the whole territory of Hong Kong.
