7.3 Sound Broadcasting

Most of the programmes provided by sound broadcasters were station-produced. Metro continued its co-production of programmes with Radio Guangdong of the Mainland and the number of hours of such co-produced programmes increased from 16.3 to 20.6 per week. The co-productions included financial programmes which were simulcast on Metro Finance and Radio Guangdong Stock Market, and entertainment programmes which were simulcast on Metro Showbiz and Radio Guangdong Voice of the City. RTHK relayed BBC World Service on Radio 6.
