7.3 Sound Broadcasting

Most of the programmes provided by sound broadcasters were station-produced. CRHK mainly provided current affairs programmes on its CR1 channel and infotainment programmes on its CR2 channel. Metro continued to co-produce programmes with Mainland radio stations, i.e. Radio Guangdong and Shanghai Media and Entertainment Group. The co-productions included financial, infotainment and music programmes which were simulcast on the channels of Metro and the two Mainland broadcasters. RTHK relayed BBC World Service on Radio 6.
