7.2 Domestic Pay Television Programme Services

Of the 293 channels offered at the end of August 2008, 37.2% (109 channels) were locally produced and 62.8% (184 channels) were sourced from outside Hong Kong, mainly from the USA (28% or 82 channels), the Mainland (6.1% or 18 channels), European countries (4.4% or 13 channels), Japan (3.8% or 11 channels) and UK (3.8% or 11 channels).
